COMMUNITY
Proudly supporting Community at a grass roots level.
2021 Knox Memorial Golf Day – proudly sponsored by OSOS Alliance.
Based in Goondiwindi in Queensland, Uncle Trevor worked as a ‘Drug Arm’ drug and alcohol counsellor, supporting people with trauma and mental health issues.
He was committed to supporting people through grief and loss and inspired everyone with his passion for community engagement.
To quote Cousin Lewis Knox “This memorial golf day not only brings together his legacy with all health issues, he also wanted all people of all backgrounds to come together and share the day together as part of reconciliation as well”.
Nollamara Women’s Football – Sponsorsed by OSOS Allaince
The Nollamara Amateur Football Club aims to provide an opportunity for community members to participate in Australian Rules Football whilst promoting healthy lifestyles through organised sport.
The Nollamara Amateur Football Club endeavours to provide a safe environment which includes the physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural safety of all players, supporters, and spectators.
Nollamara Amateur Football Club has been very successful on field averaging a premiership every 4 years since 1963. The most recent success was in 2019 when the Women’s Team won the B Grade premiership in their second year in the competition which elevated the team into the A Grade competition.
The club is run by volunteers and relies on sponsorship contributions and donations to assist with operational costs.
OSOS Alliance is proud to work at a grass roots level and as a sponsor of the Nollamara Amateur Football Club Women’s Team. We are excited to help build on our relationship with the club and community in 2021 and beyond
Collaborating with local legend Kevin Bynder
OSOS Alliance is proud to be collaborating with Kevin Bynder, a proud aboriginal man, a community role model and an acclaimed artist. Kevin promotes art and culture, whilst also supporting numerous foundations and fundraising activities for the younger generation of aboriginal leaders. Born in Perth in 1975 to a Whadjuk-Yuet Nyungar Mother and a Widi-Badimia Yamatji Father, Kevin began painting at the age of 23, in Fitzroy Crossing, before moving to Broome where he successfully opened his first art studio. A successful career has followed taking him onto the international stage. With his current gallery, Kevin proudly operates the only aboriginal-owned business in the highly acclaimed Yagan Square in Perth. Kevin’s long list of design accolades includes these milestones:
